Agronom — agriculture portal & catalogue

About the project

Agronom brings suppliers, manufacturers and farms together on one platform. It combines a catalogue of agricultural goods — agrochemicals, land reclamation, machinery, seeds and varieties — with an editorial section of news and practical agronomy articles. The project runs as a single platform across two domains: agronom.info (Russian-first) and agronome.info, the Ukrainian-first "Agronom Expert".

The task

The client needed one place where the industry could both source products and stay up to date — a working catalogue alongside a living newsroom. It had to serve several countries and audiences at once, in three languages and multiple currencies.

What we built
  • Catalogue of agri-products across key categories — agrochemicals, land reclamation, machinery, seeds and varieties
  • Editorial section with industry news and practical agronomy articles
  • Trader directory and manufacturer directory that connect suppliers, producers and farms
  • Three interface languages — Russian, Ukrainian and English
  • Currency switcher between UAH, USD and EUR
  • Search, product comparison and RSS feeds
  • Personal account and a contact form
  • One platform on two domains — agronom.info and agronome.info — sharing the same catalogue and content
The editorial section — industry news and practical agronomy articles

The result

The portal gives the sector a single reference point — a catalogue to source inputs and machinery, and an editorial feed to follow the market. Running two domains as one platform lets it speak to Russian- and Ukrainian-first audiences without splitting the content.
